Professional Interests, Experience, and Expertise.
I am a couple and family therapist, educator, and emerging researcher interested in how intimate relationships shape healing after sexual trauma. My research examines sexual assault disclosure within romantic relationships, with particular attention to partner responses, communication, intimacy, and sexual well-being. Drawing from trauma research, relationship science, and sex therapy, I seek to better understand the relational processes that help survivors feel understood, supported, and connected. Ultimately, I hope to translate research into practical resources that strengthen relationships and inform trauma-responsive clinical practice.
