Why I Joined Relevate
I joined Relevate because I believe that having access to reliable and updated information is essential; this shouldn't just be a benefit for scholars and professionals in our field! It is my hope (and sincere belief) that having easier access to information concerning relationships and/or families will help the general public and, in turn, improve these relationships.
Bio
I am a master's student in the Couple and Family Therapy program at Kansas State University. My main research interest is preferential treatment in families (favoritism) and how this impacts these children later in life. I am also greatly interested in intergenerational behavior patterns and the impact of how a person was raised on their later coupling and parenting behaviors. I am thrilled to be a member of Relevate's editorial board!
