Professional Interests, Experience, and Expertise.
My professional interests lie at the intersection of family systems, mental health, and contextual factors shaping individual and relational wellbeing. I am particularly interested in family resilience, attachment processes, intergenerational dynamics, and the impact of social isolation, acculturation, and stress on couples and families. My experience includes clinical work with individuals and couples, psychoeducational and professional trainings, and research engagement within marriage and family therapy contexts. I have developed and delivered workshops for clinical, faith-based, and organizational audiences on topics including burnout, grief and loss, emotional regulation, and relational health. My areas of expertise include systemic and attachment-based approaches, trauma-informed care, emotion-focused interventions, and culturally responsive practice. I am currently engaged in doctoral-level research and training in Couple and Family Therapy, with an emphasis on integrating theory, research, and clinical application.
